Hi all
Just wondering if anyone can direct me to some build information for the new Jimny? Looking for front and rear bars, or at least recovery points, and maybe some other bits later on.

Diesel vs Petrol
So still looking at Jeeps and came across a 07 JK diesel. What is the relative merits of diesel vs petrol? The comparison cost calculator indicates a small cost saving with diesel for the mileage I would do. Truck has 545RFE auto and 4.10 axles according to the build sheet. Low range doesn't seem to ...

Re: Rubicon vs Sport vs Overland
The Singapore Rubicon has 3.73 axles. Drove a 05 TJ manual yesterday. Bit agricultural compared to the JK but might be better off with that. Low range seemed plenty low enough as best I can tell on short distance on sealed road.

Re: JK Rubicon journey
OK, thank you for that. Next question, are the front recovery points part of the ARB bumper? ARB told me that recovery points had to be fixed to the chassis due to the air bag "cans".

Re: Rubicon vs Sport vs Overland
Only driven a Sport. Road drive around town only so not really much of a drive. Have also driven a Sport Unlimited for a longer test drive. Would a road drive of a Rubicon show much difference from a Sport? Could drive a Rubicon 4 Unlimited. Would that be a fair comparison? Re a (presumably ...

Re: Rubicon vs Sport vs Overland
Hi all Going through a similar question myself Rubicon or Sport? Two door not unlimited. Most of my driving will be Central Otago rock or coastal Otago mud and clay. Nothing too extreme, but then still want a capable vehicle. I can probably live without the diff locks and not sure if the 44 front is ...

Pajero SWB 2000
Hi all
Looking for a two door 4WD. A 2000 Pajero SWB seems to suit my budget. Is there any particular things I should look for if I find one to look at? Also wondering if lift kits are readily available and/or what size tyres can be fitted?
Any other information would be appreciated as well.

New Jimny Sierra
Hello all This post might seem a little odd but I am in a bit of a quandary. I am looking for a new 4x4 and I want something reasonably capable off road. I have had Landcruisers, Patrols and Suzukis before and have no fixed ideas and vehicle size. With the demise of the Defender 90 we are left with ...

Re: Suzuki Escudo won't start
Had a mechanic look at this and he advises the computer is faulty as it can be started by bypassing the computer. Can these computers be tested, repaired, bought second hand etc? Anywhere in Dunedin i could try? He is talking $150 to test and $350 to repair.

Suzuki Escudo won't start
My Escudo stopped dead the other day. At the time the fuel gauge was on E so I put 10l of petrol in the tank, but it wouldn't re-start. someone suggested the fuel pump might be cooked. However it appears to be OK - fuel discharges during cranking when the small bolt on the filter is loosened, also ...
