Re: 4age black top engine adaptor plate for 1600 vitara auto

I remember blasting around in a samurai which had the 4age motor in it, it went tits out up top but struggled down low as it didnt have the torque the suzi motors had. The guy who owned it ended up pulling it out and replacing it with a turbo deisel and was much happier. I remember seeing two guys ...

Re: looking for a cheap locker

^^^ As much as I hate to say it, I have to agree. I had an auto locker in my Samurai for about 2 years, it drove fine on the road. x2 I agree, ive had a lock right for about 2 years now and i wouldnt be without it, offroad it makes a massive difference and allows you to crawl over areas that youd ...

Selling springs and shocks

Selling factory grand vitara springs and shocks, these are longer than the standard vitara springs and can be used to give a lift as they are 1.5 inch longer.

$100 bucks for four springs and rear shocks, pickup only in AKL.

Does a snorkel affect the performance of an engine in normal use???? I have a suzuki escudo 95 v6 and thinking of putting one on. I dont use it for much extreme off roading so just seeing if it would be worth it. Im not sure that i noticed any gains with Snorkel, but you dont have to be doing ...

That'll do it... Steel ones are the way to go. What free wheel setup do you have on yours? Ive got the factory auto hubs in the front, should be 26 spline, 5.x ratio I think you confirmed when you did my rear diff. What id like to have, and be clear how to get there ( which is all abit confusing ...

Seems that my Pinion bearing in my front diff is poked and the seal is gone also with oil leaking. Got a quote from gearbox/diff place to make the bearings and replace, but cost is likley 800-1000 bucks which isnt all that attractive when i can get a new diff for less. I see some AU place lists ...

As churchill said, try to keep the tyre size the same for the road, the Dueler 697 is a good tyre and i also like the goodyear AT3 on the road... both tyres are good in the sand also. Jerry can mount

Did a run up to the bombing range weekend just been and the drive up the beach was challenging to say the least and consumed 1/4 of a tank alone.

Got me thinking about the need for long trips to have a 10 or 20 litre jerry handy.....anyone got pics of mounted jerry's on the rear door or spare wheel ?
