I was told it didnt need certing, and have never been questioned on it. If you take the deck off you'll see its only the 2 outside bits of the rails that stick back with seemingly no purpose anyway. Yeah i had a look under and looks like i will be able to cut it right back, then cut the actual deck and re weld it back up.. it would have to be certed and all that jazz but one step at a time haha.
