Mobile diesel mechanic in Christchurch...?
Does anyone know a mobile diesel mechanic in Christchurch? Got a non-running Nissan ED33, suspect injector/injector pump issues. Tried priming it, discovered fuel isn't going from pump to injectors, new fuel filter 3,500km ago, suspect injector pump died. Am at the limit of my mechanical abilities ...

Re: Land Rover S2A front swivel balls
So, started her up to take her to the garage, but throttle was surging all of its own accord, then when I put my foot down nothing for a few seconds, then suddenly kicked in. Gave it a real boot and engine revved up high then just stopped. It's a diesel, so checked it had plenty of fuel (it does ...

My beloved just failed its WOF with front swivel balls leaking (amongst other things). Has anyone kitted the swivel balls before? Is it a mission? Or can anyone recommend anyone to do the work for me, I'm in CHCH? (Ideally within the next fortnight or so - Hoskins are all booked up until after ...

Looking for a Chch automotive welder
My landy needs a bit of rust work to get its VIN -- doesn't look too bad, just a bit of box section on chassis that needs cutting and replacing.
Can anyone recommend a welder in/near CHCH that's auto certified? Can pay cash if its an out-of-hours job.
Thanks!

Series parts in Christchurch
Hi all, I've been given a *lot* of series 2/2a parts -- diffs, springs, half shafts, doors, panels, roofs, windows, electrics, heaters, hinges, alternators, starters, rims, tyres, lights, electrics and goodness knows what. There's about 5-6 pallets stacked high with bits. I don't want to keep this ...
