Get a well known brand and some Argonshield. I just got a key cut today for my new pajero, the guy just looked up the model and year on his computer for the base key them typed some number after looking at the key put it in some fancy machine and was done. I couldn't see what numbers he was reading off the original key so no idea how he did it ...

Yeah noticed that so edited the above post, didn't want to bag an ORE member as you seem to be good sorts. Still a bit annoying with a margionly believable story.

Another bidder luckily now has the car so all sorted, got rid of it this time of year so happy.

Turns out after having the cam and silent shafts off 5 times when i removed the water pump the 1st time i got a little rattle gun happy and removed a bolt that wasnt for the pump and has an oil galary behind it. DOW! Not a drip after 2 weeks. Atleast i can now do a cam belt in 45 mins and replaced a ...

Have barely had a single issue with my petrol V6 pajero but the 4D56 seems to leak from every gasket fitted to the motor! Sound like the 2.8's are allot better.

Interested in v6 petrol pajero? Would love to keep it but downgraded to 2.4T Pajero for fuel savings :( Goes bloody well IMO never had any major issues and is a little rocket ship. 180 odd ks.

on a side - the rear wheel track may run 20-40mm to the left of the front wheel track, could be an optical illusion but a few people have notice, when lining up the wheels. IMO this would be correct if your panhard was running out of radius it would start pulling your diff sideways as the arc ...
