Re: 93 V25 Pajero 3.5SWB less engine
Mind if i ask what wheels and tyres they are? I got the same pretty standard tho, SWB 3.5 with factory lift myself and am keen to get some 33's for it if they fit? Hey, yeh they are 33s. Cant remember tyre brand atm. They fit no problems with the body lift. Definately need that body lift or they rub

Re: Leaking rear main seal
Yeh the gear oil has a red tinge and this is straight out brown, ive wiped both oils on white paper and it matched engine oil moreso than gear oil. My smell is knackered and i cant notice the difference

Leaking rear main seal
So just spent $1200 bucks rebuilding the transfer case on my 3.5 Pajero. A day after getting it back from the shop it starts pissing oil out the front of the gearbox where it meets the engine. Pretty certain its engine oil though so its most likely the rear crank seal. Its never dripped anything ...

Re: body lifted 3.5 keeps poppin out of low range
Dam. So its none of the above. Was leaning on the lever last night towing a Surf with a blown headgasket back through the Muriwai beach entry. The lever kicked out so hard it bruised my palm. It kicks out with such force and just starts grinding. Its the transfer box eh? Stupid question i know but ...

Re: 3L vs 3.5L
Ive had the 3.0 and now have the 3.5. Prefer the 3.5 for outright power. More to the engines and more $$ when shit goes wrong. I found the 3.5 high range is as grunty as the 3.0 low range so fair bit of extra torque. Ild go with the 3.5 but i guess in the back of my mind im worried if anything goes ...

body lifted 3.5 keeps poppin out of low range
As title states. Its a body lifted 3.5 swb pajero. Keeps poppin out of low range under load, is there any reason its doing this or any ideas on how to fix it? Ive also noticed a grinding that comes and goes as i bounce over bumps. Best described as metal teeth grinding under impact of the bumps ...

Yeh was a good day. Good bunch of fullas we met up with. Showed us some new tracks we havnt seen before. The Terrano did pretty good but as expected nothing compared to old Paj. Too long, too low but it took a beating so i cant complain. Had a few tows throughout the day, ild hate to be out there ...

Re: Tell me about the 87 Pajero
Ok cool. Thats some good insight right there. The one im looking at has a 4g63b in it. 2.0 Petrol turbo. Never heard of this before. Might go check it out. Reason i ask is i sold my pajero for a r50 terrano and its a little bitch in comparison. Cant raise it, cant get it wet inside, a thin plastic ...
