Yes, just need one that isn't completely full of woodhill mudpit and has good workable brakes.

It's leaf sprung. Pretty sure it's semi floater... Hub doesn't stick much past the drum (10-15mm).

I just got a cheap Pajero that I've taken out once and was really surprised at where it could go! They seem to have good ability standard with good diff locks. Mine's too rusty to spend money on so I'm just going to give it a hard time. Quite hungry on petrol though. Otherwise hiluxs and safaris ...
