Mine heats up to up bombays etc under load ive replaced everything new reco trans, radiator ,external tran cooler, new water pump and thermostat and it still gets up to 3/4 on the gauge under load.

I second new cap..when the hose looked sucked in was the thermostat open or closed?..those temps are normal an obviously thermostat housing will get hot otherwise doesn't open. just took it for a run up some hills today and used a laser temp gun to check top and bottom hoses top was really hot especially the thermostat housing 68-71"degress and couldnt hold it for to long the bottom was able to hold as long as i wanted and temped at 47-51 degress when it sits for a while ...

just done the oil using delvac mobil, also deisel pump was done 6 months ago got the reciepts from last owner it looks like new too.

forgot to add doesnt use water either rads always full and over flow is at the full mark 2 cheers again

Ok had a look 4 a cooler are the repco ones any better same price fins look stronger its a driveline in black doesnt have the fine metals fins though would the repco 1 dissapate the heat as well?

yeah, remove the banjo fitting ontop of the injector pump under the power steer pump, inside is a little gauze that gets clogged with crap when running injector cleaner or Jet A with diesel. took off the fitting and there was no spring or gauze in there had a gd look as well pump has just been done ...

well after a bit of playing around i found my egr vacum line hard and broken on the end to the egr cut that down fix that up also same on the little vacum thing on the intake manifold from the turbo next thing is i was reving it up under the bonnet and noticed the valve was opening up and closing ...

well ive refulled up with fresh gas new fuel filter and still has hesatation when i take off only when warm not cold!

any ideas people also who recos injectors in manukau city cost?

should this be my next step?

Ok guys thanks for tips ive changed the filter today had some brown crap at the bottom when i took the sender off the bottom . I also took off the fuel inlet fitting bolt couldnt see any type of filter there? And she still smokes one thing i have noticed is ,its fine when cold first start up for 5 ...

hi guys i added some injector cleaner from repco 2 weeks ago in my truck terrano td27 was a little smokey before hand after i did 40 ks, i now have a bad flat spot around 1500-1800 rpm smokes alot and clears when the turbo kicks after 2000rpm it runs good up high no smoke etc...and better. but ...

i know u guys have done this just wanting to know how much were the bushes which ones to replace .nolathane etc.. and do i need a press for the trail arms?
