It's not so bad if you pull the bungs, you just get a bit wet :) Yours might not float so well but I'd bet its good at tipping over in the river :)

Gee your hilux is high!

Yea, should go play in some mud some time, I cant go through water to deep though, because suzukis have a tendancy to float lol, can be quite dodgy :)

Gday Like Tristanp said, you want it the patches to be a nice fit. That sounds like a true cruiser you've got there mate lol. It's not a cruiser unless it fails at least half a dozen things on its wof every time. Just some warning about welding the patch in, go easy on the heat, if you go and ...

Hi bounty sorry dont know about the mpg, but with the idle jet you'd be better off just replacing it with a new one. Repco or BNT should be able to get one for you.

Argh I hate my 413 starter too The starter is a common short mitsubishi one, any of the local auto electricians should have parts in stock. what is it doing? It may need only minor repairs Mine died because I didn't have a cover on the bottom of my gearbox and mud was getting in there (argh, which I ...

Gday Ben Sounds interesting The worst thing about the 410 is the 4 speed i think, my dad has one and its screaming on the open road. Sounds interesting. I had to pull the motor out of my 413 last week and replace it. I got a holden barina and put its engine in (g13A 1324cc). I think the best thing ...

Gday fearless I did a body lift (50mm) on my SJ413 a few months back.. and dont know if it's really worth doing. If you do do it don't go higher than 2 inches (50mm) if you do you will have quite a few more problems to deal with. I made my blocks out of UHMWPE (nylon/wearstrip plastic) 50mm shaft ...
