Re: Tempory lossing power

Sorry for the slow replies guys, Generator at work decided it wanted to catch on fire and I been a busy boy pulling it apart. I think it might be an o2 sensor as it only does it when its cold, and for maybe 500 meters drive down the road. Once that stage is over its fine. I think the o2 sensors have ...

Tempory lossing power

Hi peoples. my 97 Wrangler has start to form a problem. not all the time, but enough to worry me it, after starting up will idle rough, followed by starting to drive it having to push the foot further and further down to get it to move. Followed by a pop under the bonnet, then its all fine for the ...

Does anyone know stock offset?

Hi Guys, I have a 97 TJ wrangler with im pretty sure standard rims on it, I was wondering if anyone knows what the standard offset is, as i want to order some new rims so my tires stop rubbing on things. I cant find anything relating to this via searches, so if this thread has already been made ...

Re: Tracks around Hamilton?

I'm trying to get into the cozy club wheelers. But its proving harder than expected. The require me to go out with them twice before I can join, but they hardly ever seem to go out. At least judging from their emails that I'm part of.

Tracks around Hamilton?

Hi everyone, I was wondering since Thompsons is poked currently, if anyone knew of some nice easy tracks like thompsons around Hamilton that could be done on a 2 inch lifted Jeep wrangler with 32" tires. I was hoping to take my mate out tomorrow or Friday and since I'll be a solo vehicle I dont ...

Re: Home made Jeep modifications

It stops the recovery gear from rolling around, and was somewhere sturdy to put the highlift... Not a bad idea. I put my jack here. Just cut some 50x50(i think) stainless box section, drilled a couple holes in the bottom and drilled a hole in the top poked a stainless bolt through and welded it in ...

Re: Home made Jeep modifications

Also made this winch plate, because I couldnt find a made one that would fit what I had. Just had to design it and send a drawing in to J P Marshals in Hamilton with measurements, hole diameters and such, and they laser cut some 6mm plate for me, then i just had to mill some spaces, weld them on ...

After snapping my door handle, and ordering a replacement one only for that to snap not even half pull because of poor design, i decided to make my own slightly more robust ones, just have to make the shaft now and shell be good to go, one for each side. Total cost so far: Free http://i233 ...

Decent truck being a mighty Wrangler with 2inch lift, 32" muds, swaybar disconnects, dented bullbar? If so, keep me informed via pm if you remember, because ill most likely forget. First time I went up there was a stock TJ with All Terrains. Mind you that was a few years ago though. It doesn't have ...

I would have said top of thompsons with that nice view of katikati/ocean. Assuming its open for xmass/new years after that slip. As for your parts, id never order off a jeep dealer, their prices are ridiculously jacked. The most I use them for is getting the part numbers as a reference to go by then ...

Yeah I know they dont handle too well on road without one. Im just gunna get the wof and leave it in the garage untill my parts get here. That way I dont have to put the rego back on hold if the parts are to far away. And definatly wasnt going to take it to VTNZ, but since they are the strictest ...

Is it illegal to have no front sway bar? I'd be interested if I sold my wrangler first.

But I have not yet started trying to sell it. So unless you were keen on a straight swap for the truck and trailer for my Jeep, I'll have to wait.
