Re: 5M-GE Issue
Starting to feel better about my tapping noise.
Yeah, got a beam axle, not sure they knew about IFS in 82 when they made my Ute?
So off with the sump it is and I'l have a look to see how bad it is.
Had nothing to do for Easter anyway.
Always keen to have a chat with any locals with similar mods.

5M-GE Issue
Hi, Have an issue with my Lux. Was heading away on sat and heard a tapping noise start in my engine. Stopped and listened to it and it appears to have a little man inside hitting it with a hammer. Has anyone else out there had a similar issue with a 5M? If it is as terminal as it sounds (i'm thinkin ...

Long Wheel base springs are the same height but stiffer, I put Lifted LWB Maxitrac springs in my Paj (95 2.8 SWB) and then strapped on a set of 32x11.5's. After it has settled I can still fit my head between the tyre and guards, est 3+ inch before settled and 2 after. You have to look into how much ...

Mullet, I put some 31x10.5x15 Sumitomo's on the Paj about 60k ago. Full MT and after them being run 95% or more of the time onroad they still have 7mm of tread (19 to start i think). They behave ok on the open road, (it's a SWB 4WD) and the Wife has not done any damage but changed the vehicle off ...

As always, you want something, ask the question. But also as always it's case by case. It's probably not going to be worth the time for either of us if you want a pack of cable ties but you want bigger stuff give me a holler. Just don't ask me here cause I only get to see this site from home. Damm ...

Little bit upset that SaddamHusain put Repco in the same basket as Supercheap. Supercheap is well known for product recalls (See article in consumer) where Repco has a solid Rep as having Quality product.
