Hi Guys,
Have managed to forget where this vacuum line goes to. It's comes from just in front of the windscreen on the drivers side. See pictures below.
Cheers

Re: TD42 PTO drum seized
I think I was a unclear, I just wanted to know the chance of there being a key locking the drum from moving sideways off the shaft. Judging by your replies and the two assembly plans I have I guessed there wasn't. Hit it harder with a wedge between the gearbox surround and drum. It's now off. Thanks ...

Re: TD42 PTO drum seized
Truck has been off the road for other reasons, so while it was off I took the winch off, was hoping to fix the problem before putting it back on, because I don't want to have to take it back off if that solution doesn't work. I may try doing the same thing with it off the truck any way if I can jig ...

TD42 PTO drum seized
Hi, I have tried to find an answer on here unsuccessfully but maybe I have searched enough. My pto winch drum stopped free spoiling but was driving fine. Have taken off and attempted to disassemble, however, I can't remove the drum, have been putting a lot of CRC on it but it still won't come off. I ...

Re: nissan safari 1990 pto controller /cable
Hi Mate,
I made mine from an auto shifter, just have to make sure the cable has the right amount of movement. Pick apart for all pieces, didn't cost much. Mine looks tidy because I grabbed some leather from a manual and wrapped it round it.
Hope that's helpful.
All the best

Re: comforser tyres
Sorry it's taken forever for me to do enough kms to be able to comment on the tyres (Breakdowns and what not). I have een very happy with them this far, travel well on the road, not too loud and not wearing excessively/barely noticeable at present. Work well with low pressures takes a lot to pop off ...

Hi everyone,
Has anyone replaced the output seal of their PTO on a Nissan safari, I need some tips on dis-assembling to get the old seal out, new one in.
Thanks

Re: Show us your Nissan
Well I have recently got this wonderful toy. Non turbo td42 swb. Got the PTO winch which I am super happy with. Some bar work I made, not super strong but protective. Running on kumhos but putting 32in comforsers on in march. Fairly standard. Happy to have an LSD in the back. No significant mods, I ...

Has anyone ever run comforsers? Looking at a set of 32in directionals and want to know how they hold up compared to others. Are they of similar quality to kuhmos that I am running now. Got a swb safari. Cheers team.
