Have managed to forget where this vacuum line goes to. It's comes from just in front of the windscreen on the drivers side. See pictures below.

I have this drawing but it is not the only assembly Nissan made, mine is a little different.

I think I was a unclear, I just wanted to know the chance of there being a key locking the drum from moving sideways off the shaft. Hi Mate,

I made mine from an auto shifter, just have to make sure the cable has the right amount of movement. Pick apart for all pieces, didn't cost much. Mine looks tidy because I grabbed some leather from a manual and wrapped it round it.
