if you want to 'fix it' change the brake pads, they have just cooked. if you have never done this, and going by mentioning taking it to a mechanic, i will presume so. then watch this. m yes its that easy. oh and make sure you have the truck on axle stands (very cheap and useful) and not just a jack.

wondering if anyone has a rough idea on how many labour hours at a shop it would take to drop a 4JB1T into a landrover stage one with a supplied conversion kit.

pondering on how much i need to look at having before setting out to do it.
