Just a quick question, whats the difference between the 1990 80 series cruisers springs VS the 1991 onwards model? are they longer or shorter? Different sized perches?

And what shocks to use? Rancho? OME? Bilstein? Tough dog? I want to buy th shocks ...

Yeah you can do them easy with the head of(no shit Sherlock!) But i want to do it in place and wondered if there's anyone in Auckland thats a half decent Mechanic to do it? My local Toyota dealership are too chicken shit to do the job.

I concur with your theory, blows blue smoke on start up every morning when cold and doesnt go away until the temp is up to the normal range, I could do it myself, have done it before on td42's but in all honesty it cant be fucked doing it, rather pay a good mechanic to do the job

Anyone changed their stem seals on their 1hd-ft? (24 valve) Landcruiser? Or had it done by a reputable mechanic in the Auckland area?

Hey man , what model/part number was the/on the Power chip you had? I have only been able to find ones for the common rail 1kd and 2kd engines but not for the 1kz?
