Hey thanks for that, I'll keep that option in mind. May be easier hacking that open rather than hacking open my bonnet haha.
Anyone else have any intercooler options for me? All info is greatly appreciated!

Re: TD27 Intercooler options
Do you have any pics lying around? It looks like a pretty tight fit, especially with where the grill is mounted to the front, and also where the bonnet latch is located? If it didn't get so hot in Kaikoura during summer I'd think about ripping out the air con haha.

Re: TD27 Intercooler options
I did have a big look through the search results, not many results for where people actually got their intercooler from. The main reason I did want the Mistral one is so I could get all the mounting brackets etc. I thought about water to air, but not sure if I have enough room for the heat exchanger ...

TD27 Intercooler options
Hey guys, I've been scouring for an intercooler to chuck in my Terrano. I been ringing around wreckers for a Mistral one, so I can pretty much bolt it in but they aren't cheap ($400). For that price would I be better off getting a cheaper top mount off an old Subaru or something? Or possibly a ...
Re: TD27 Egr
Yeah looks a bit of a bugger to get to, dunno how any guys with lifts will go trying to reach it...
Re: TD27 Egr
Ah ok cheers. I had to climb up onto my nudge bar to even see it.
Re: TD27 Egr
How far down is it? I thought that was what I was looking for, but I haven't seen anything that resembles it... Haha it probably has been removed...
Re: TD27 Egr

Can someone point it on this? What I need is a full engine diagram or someone to teach me this stuff in person ahah.
Re: TD27 Egr
I never said I wanted to remove it. Well, maybe not just yet. Just looking out of curiosity, trying to understand what everything is. I've read a lot on here about blocking the egr off, just wondering whether or it it has already been done to mine.
Re: TD27 Egr
Hey sorry I still can't find it. I am probably looking at it, but just don't know it...
TD27 Egr
Alright I have got myself a 94 td27 Terrano, but I cannot find the egr. Can someone show me a photo of where it is located?
Bear in mind I am a complete novice...
Cheers.

Re: Buying Advice: Mazda Proceed/ Mitsi Pajero
Yeah that second one was the one I was eyeing up. Unless someone else has better for for around 5-6k? I was also looking at a few 95-96 Terranos, 2.7td's.

Re: Air Rifle -Magpies
And Air Rifle should be fine if you can get close enough. I've shot them before with my air rifle. Once they were setting on the fence along with the driveway, and they didn't fly away when i drove past. So I went and got my rifle, and drove back up and shot one. As others have mentioned, they can ...

Re: Buying Advice: Mazda Proceed/ Mitsi Pajero
Alright cheers. I guess the only thing to keep in mind is that I'll be doing more open road driving than offroad, I roughly have a 16km round trip daily.
Also I thought those pajero's had good ground clearance...

Buying Advice: Mazda Proceed/ Mitsi Pajero
Hey there, I am looking at a newer model Mazda Proceed, a '96 with the 2.5 Diesel Engine. Any thoughts? Is it likely to the TD version? It seems like a better priced alternative to some other smaller 4wds. Mostly to be used as a daily driver, with a few fishing and hunting trips, which is why I want ...

4wd wanted to trade
Hey there, I am looking to trade my NZ New Subaru Legacy for a 4wd. I am located in Kaikoura, willing to go SI wide or possibly Wellington. It is non-turbo, been really well cared for and completely stock. 177xxxkms. Cheers http://i688.photobucket.com/albums/vv246/jeffwilson99/IMG_9314.jpg

Haha yeah, it is a nice spot. Some nice mountains around, so there's sure to be some good 4wd spots, as well as some good hunting and fishing!

Generic New Member Post, from Kaikoura.
Hey there, I'm Nick.
Currently living in Kaikoura, don't have a 4wd yet but I am looking into getting one, so I thought I'd sign up for some advice and banter. Might see you round if you're in the area!
Cheers
