Re: WTB - 5.29 Diff lock
ah okay. I'm in Hamilton so probably can't get it myself haha. I'll try and see if someone is able to help with that. Is there any chance you would be able to drop it to the depot at some stage otherwise? No rush at all, even in a month haha, just whenever you head into town and are able to take the...

Re: WTB - 5.29 Diff lock
I have one sat in the shed. Complete axle. $750 and can include compressor, ECU and switch. I can remove the diff nugget and half shafts to help with transport if you wanted. Both half shafts are different to the standard ones. Shipping is not easy for me as its a 2 hour return drive to the mainfre...

WTB - 5.29 Diff lock
Hey all,
I'm after a 5.29 factory rear diff lock and rear left axle for a Pajero (the compressor too if that's available)
Does anyone have one they'd like to sell?
Cheers

Re: WTB; 80 Channel UHF Portable Radio
GME do a budget 2w handheld for about $90 from memory TX670. Comes with remote speaker mic and charger. Good battery life due to its auto power save feature. Yea that was my first choice, but read some reviews of them and the speaker was quite quiet apparently, in any case I have found a decent set...

Re: WTB; 80 Channel UHF Portable Radio
Cheers guys, had a look at the fixed CB but am really more after something I can use in my new truck as I will be selling my truck at some stage soon. http://www.trademe.co.nz/electronics-photography/radio-equipment/amateur-radio/auction-632540231.htm That is an absolutely amazing price for a 5 Watt...

Re: WTB; 80 Channel UHF Portable Radio
Had a look at those, they seem pretty good, might go with the 1.5 watt ones unless someone else has some cheaper second hand radios they want to sell! Not sure about VOX, would mean you can't talk inside the truck unless you want it to transmit to everyone else haha

Just as a suggestion, you can buy lightbars at wholesale prices from DHgate. Pretty much what every seller on trademe does, buy one for wholesale and double the prices!

Re: WTB; 80 Channel UHF Portable Radio
Thanks for such a quick reply! Do you reckon those would do the job for the majority of 4WD trips and long distance driving? Been using the little 0.5 watt Unidens until now but am after something with a bit more juicekbushnz wrote:only 0.7 watt..

WTB; 80 Channel UHF Portable Radio
Does anyone have a (pair of) good quality, branded portable 80 Channel UHF for sale? Preferably something 1 watt and above. Would be happy to buy as a pair if you have two for sale assuming the price is right.

Re: SWB 3.5V6 Manual drivetrain to LWB 2.5 Manual
I certainly did consider the 3.2 but the work needed to slot it into my NH was far to much and complex, though they should fit up to the 2.8 body as the mounts are the same I believe? I also considered buying a later model Pajero, however in all honesty I couldn't bear to get rid of my truck! It spe...

Re: SWB 3.5V6 Manual drivetrain to LWB 2.5 Manual
Thanks NJV6, I was hoping you would post in here! I thought the stock NH drive train was just fine, but everyone on the Pajero Club of Victoria reckons it's quite weak :? [quote="Yes, but the driveshaft's need altering, the long one will not fit the bigger transfer case[/quote] By this, do you ...

Re: 4D56 reliability?
Hey CLUMZ1, I have a 4D56T in my Paj. I think they are a brilliant engine. Got mine at 189,000km from an owner in Auckland so was completely city driven. Since then I have done a heap of trips and been off-roading a fair few times. Off-road there is more than enough power when in low-range for any t...

SWB 3.5V6 Manual drivetrain to LWB 2.5 Manual
I currently own a LWB 2.5TD GLS NH Pajero with a Manual transmission and the Super-Select transfer case. I am looking to swap in a 4D56T from a newer Triton and upgrading the drivetrain to cope with the torque. I am looking at a 3.5 V6 Manual as I have heard these are the strongest of the Gen 2s, an...

Do some more research. The offsets you speak of dont exist. Hyper Drive NZ offer the Fuel Revolver in 15x10 -25 Summit Racing have an entire stock packed with Pro Comp rims, Pro Comp themselves in 15x8 and 15x10 ranging from 0 to -76 offset Jegs also has a huge variety of rims, and from them, Black...

8" or 10" Wheels?!?!
I am after a set of new wheels with a bit of poke. Done plenty of measuring on my truck and decided on either 15x8 -50mm or 15x10 -25mm. However, looking online it appears that on a 10 inch wide rim with 31x10.5s you risk rolling the bead off extremely easily and can't air down because of this. Appa...
