Wanted - Steering box to suit 1990 safari obviously in good nick with no backlash. I understand the GQ ones are the same until about 1996?
Prefer Christchurch but happy to pay shipping if need be.

Well the body mounts on my y60 safari are had it (10mm ish free play when I get under there with a pry bar, no wonder it makes a good knock). Nissan want silly money, ebay etc isnt much cheaper. I have winch unit, Has broken side flange on the drum a new steel drum can be made up pretty easy to replace the alloy ones that always break. and have control lever off a MQ but I'm sure could be made to fit. Dont have shaft or morse cable though Where are you located I just need PTO drive unit for ...

they go for good money, m Bugger, I didn't spot that one in time would have paid that for it. Ah well will keep hunting. Are the gears the same? Are you meaning are the gears in the MQ the same as the GQ? No they are different. Had thought about this, if I could weld a new flange on and machine it ...
