I was on coast with chch crew on w.e and decided to do a solo run through chasm track on sunday as the others wernt keen to do too much, was plain sailing most of the way. a new track has been pushed through at grey end to drop into the grey above boulders (didnt notice until was already driving ...

ok have had a meter on it and gets 6 volts for couple of seconds then drops to around 3 volts.this dosnt seem right for a 24v truck. was thinking about just running a heavy duty button in the dash to run the glows manualy?

bj73 glow problem
my cruiser glow system hasnt been working. if you glow it 4-5 times it will fire up.have replaced glowplugs and didnt make any difference.was wondering if it could be timer or relay. any help on the matter would be great

are you meaning the diff flange that the driveshaft bolts to has play up and down? if so is most likely pinion bearing in the diff where the play is coming from

it could be a common 1kz problem they have with the ecu, the caps go in them which can cause all sorts of trouble. you can get the ecu fixed by a auto computer repairer fairly cheap

seen few clips on youtube of rockcrawlers with that setup, seems to work prety good too. dunno if itd be practical for normal trail conditions though

you can never take to many spare parts when heading to reefton. i seem to break something nearly everytime i go
youll have a ball no matter what the level of your truck is, just have to know your limits and stick to the tracks that suit you and your truck. my 2c

Yea Dan who owns that red truck has used old worn out flat springs, he compared his two identical trucks one sprung under with 2" lift and his other with S.O.A and the sprung over was 100mm higher. Hes done a really good job of his. that sounds about same height as mine.mines 150mm higher than a ...

the height it sits at atm is good running 37s no body lift the tires just fit.the leafs will definatly be sagged factory ones. so yeh guess putting brand new standard height leafs wont be ideal as dont want to lift it anymore.im mainly trying to fix the leaning to one side and breaking leafs thing ...

hey man yeah i remember, hows new truck? been wheeling lately? yeh its got bump stops and yeh can get the leafs to invert just, as in sit on the bump stops when flexd. i think the leafs in it must be the old originals and are really worn out
