Thanks got it sorted another question with the removal of the ifs front diff and the add solenoid, the green 4wd light is now not working can some one tell me if I need to bridge the plugs or I'm I looking for some thing else cheers

brake light won't go out
So I've just finished sas job on my surf, I'll get some pics up when I work out how! Any way while I was at it I put new brakes all round on her disks pads shoes drums and a full fluid flush. Now the dash brake light won't go off and yes I did let the hand brake off 3x Tried pushing the hand brake ...

iv got a set of 33/10.5/15 Silverstone xtremes on 15x7 roh rims if you keen center tread not much round 3mm out side lugs still fcuking mint $450 also have a set of retreaded fire hawks similer to a 32/10.5/15 with 12mm tread all round $550 for those your welcome to come look if you like

usually the rears are the same, left and right are determined from drivers seat. most leafs new will have ether L or R on them or FL and FR. if truck has a slight lean to the passengers side they are probly in the right way.

is it leaf set up?, did you get left and right in the right sides?
if so drivers side allways sits alittle higher as it is allways getting used ie you constantly getting in and out and supporting more weight

my wagon got 2'' ball joint spacers 2'' diff drop removed sway bay and 26mm terrain tamer torsion bars. 65mm lifted cobra springs in rear. ome shocks up front and ranchos in rear. fits in 33''s sweet, no rub. want more flex now tho so it got the chop

a good performing mud tyre will have deep tread, wide open voids, large outer lugs and sharp edges.... put them on the road and you can kiss goodbye to all those

ive got a spare mint cv sitting in my shed $50 all yours, will have another two to go shortly, in fact a whole ifs front end
extended shocks will be being used as front ball joint spacers are fitted

cheers mate. na im going to ditch the leafs and go with a coil set up, keeps the same as the back. have a mate who used to run a suspension shop and is a certd welder and I only have to ask if he wants a beer and hes there
any one got any pros or cons, leafs v coils?

suppose I should have sed my surf is a 94 kzn130 ifs with add set up (push button 4wd). donor vehicle is a 87 single cab hilux solid front with 4.3 lsd's. as my truck will be losing the button, will I need to swap t-cases as effectively there will be no way of tranfering drive to the front wheels

if you can feel/hear a click at the start motor it probably wont be relay, sounds very much like the solenoid has gone and just one of those things

talk with some local farmers in that area, most are more than happy to allow access through farms.(lots of gullies and scrub up coppermine and top grass) public spots are real hit and miss these days.

I do all work on it, hub swap was pretty easy. sounds like lockka time
