Hi all I have a 1993 KZJ71 Prado. i bought it with a lift kit fitted but i don't know how much eg 2 inch 3 inch etc. I have since fitted a arb bull bar and a winch this has caused the front springs to sag quite badly and i would like to replace them with some heavier rated ones. have looked in to converting it to air but was goin to take the easy way out I may explore it some more. has anyone else converted the e locker to air?

i thought I may have to get a standard diff but thought I would ask. as for the rear locker old owner pulled the motor apart and lost al the parts. and parts for the electric locker are rearer than hens teeth. there for changing to air lockers

KZJ71 Diffs

Hello All
I have a 1993 KZJ71 Prado sx and in the process of ordering diff locks but have been asked what diffs are in my truck. My research shows 8inch 10 bolt full floating in the front and a 8inch 12 bolt full floating 50mm bearing in the rear. is this correct?? any help would be great thanks

Hi there i know a new one is around the $1000 mark. it depends on weather its the whole unit or just the worm gear/ armature.

Cheers for your quick reply's guy. Yea most people i have rung have laughed at me. i do no i can get a new one out of toyota but they want there pound of flesh for it. i have herd of the cable locker. it may be the way to go
