thanks for the advice i went to an auto trans shop this morning and explaned my symtom, he sugesssted that it could be the temp sensor in the trans that could be faulty. so as kind as he was he gave me a resistor and showed me how to add it into the curcuit. he did not seem to think it was the kick ...

I have a simillar issue with my 92 D21 auto, when driving 100km/h on the motor way it slips from forth to third then back into forth all at a constant speed?

does anyone know what causes this?????

Is this a common problem for terrano's???? my speedo seems to get stuck at what ever constant speed im travelling at and it takes ages to come down to the new speed
do you think its the drive for the speedo or the speedo its self??

my thoughts were along the ame line, just wasnt sure if that would fix it.
but a good place to start.

hopefully its not the tourqe converter or the valve body that are to blame.

Hi when driving at 100km/h my trans seams to change down to third and back up to fouth on its own???????????
