I did use scotch locks. I didn't want to solder them until I was sure it was working.
I tried inverting the connections, and it works the same. The tacho sensor goes on the injection pump:

Tachometer only moves from 0 to 1000rpm
Hello,
After finding the tachometer connector to the sensor was damaged (and therefore, not working), I joined the wires with 3M wire connectors.
Now the tachometer needle moves, but only from 0 - 1000rpm. When its on 1000rpm, the acceleration is on its fullest.

I will discuss that with the mechanic, but it does sound weird to me, haha.
Anyways, wouldn't it be easier to find a r150f transfer case with driver side drop? Well, do they exist? So far I have found only automatic ones. . .

That's something I'm not aware of. Do you have any links from people who have done this?

I'm only able to find pictures of r150f with passenger/right side drop transfer cases.
Can you point any specific transmission/truck models? (I did try with kzn185)

Ford F150 with 1kz-te (now only T) and R150F transmission
Hello, After many attempts to keep the truck running fine, it's just to expensive. We are almost finished adapting a Toyota 1kz-t engine with a R150F transmission, which has the the front drive shaft on the right side. Being my truck originally 2wd, I would like to take advantage of the 4x4 ...

I just checked alldataDIY but they only have the petrol model.
Should I still get the subscription for stuff that isn't engine-related?

Re: URGENT HELP NEEDED - Oil on the rim/wheel
Hate to state the obvious but there's a lot wrong with this picture, broken hub studs, axel or bearing seals most probably axel, broken wheel stud. Do you want to do the work your self? Save people explaining what to do. Or if you just need to know what's gone wrong. I'm considering wether I can do ...

URGENT HELP NEEDED - Oil on the rim/wheel
Hello, I just found oil on the rim after a drive, I'm not sure how long it has been that way, but I know it was ok yesterday at lunch time. When checked, I found one of the small studs was missing, I tried to torque the rest, and another one broke very, very easily. What should I do? I know very ...
