60 series tailgate license plate light fitting wanted

Is anyone wrecking a 60 series Cruiser at the mo? Let me know as I'm after the chrome fitting that contains the lights for the license plate on the tailgate.

Thanks

Yes the Blizzard and the Daihatsu Rugger are very similar. Ruggers are great vehicles - easy to work on and modify, plus they're cheap. The 2.8 turbo diesel would be a good choice - it's a pretty bullet proof motor. The articulation is a bit limited by the anti-swaybars, but they can be removed or ...

Hi There were 73 & 74 Series Toyota's in Aussie - not sure about other markets - at the same time as the Bundera. The Bundera is essentially a Hilux with a 70 Series body and coil springs. It was Toyota's first go at all coil suspension and sported a 3 link setup (similar to the 80 Series) at both ...

Hi Bill I have some good 2nd hand AVM manual hubs from an older Toyota. If they are able to be fitted and you want them you can have them for $50 plus freight (I'm in Upper Hutt). If anyone else out there knows if they'll fit - with or without a conversion kit could you let us know. Cheers Andrew

Snorkels and LPG

Hi guys I'm wanting to put a snorkel on my FJ40 which is dedicated LPG - are there any issues I should be aware of? I've heard of a number of people having problems with the motor not running right after fitting a snorkel, but I don't know if these were dual fuel setups or dedicated like mine ...

Are Rodeo Rims suitable for Land Cruiser?

Hi guys

Can you use rims off a Rodeo an an FJ40? I have access to a set of 16x7 Rodeo rims (at a good price) for my spare set of mud tyres, but am concerned that the offset may be different and therefore detrimental.

Any feedback would be appreciated

Tyres - a minefield of opinion. My opinion is start with a budget and then you can narrow down the options. Then ask yourself some questions: a. how serious do I want to get with my offroading b. what is the main use of my 4WD c. how do I want/need my 4WD to perform on road From my experience a good ...

Get yourself along to a club - most offer formal training and plenty of informal advice. It'll stop you from making all the usual mistakes and keep the offroading fun and safe. You'll also get to enjoy the company of like minded individuals and gain access to heaps more places to go, spare parts ...

Hi guys

I had a buyer lined up, but they fell through and therefore are still for sale. As for the stud pattern, they fit my '89 60 series Cruiser as well as my FJ40 so I would suspect they will fit Nissans.

Drop me a line
