Well the front bearing on the gearbox collapsed and subsequently the layshaft has snapped where it goes into the sandwhich plate. Ive got the box out and my mate has stripped it down but finding a new/2nd hand layshaft has been a mission. No wreckers seem to have them and the local gearbox ...

decided i cant be bothered working on it + a few mates have told me its a mission so im just gona take it to a shop $300 BTW.
o well id rather spend the w.e working on my drift car than my tow truck.
