Yes he was running and amp off the converter, but I will not be, just a simple head unit off the 12v.

hi guys , I just purchased a 24v cruiser. the guy I got it off told to hook up the amp wire on battery for the sterio to work and it did, however the stereo didn't turn off with key and the converter was permantly going. it has 3 wires in 24v and 3 wires out 12v, the 24 I was straight off the ...

the 298 was human error wa suppose to be 288, the kms are up to date in it, maybe it was wound back? id say most diesels probly have been at some stage.
all else checked out good though, cant be a bad buy for $4000?
