Re: Navara Seats
Its an 06 STX, I dont think its got any other air bags than the main ones and the one that rides in the passenger seat sometimes, but will have to check properly.

Re: Navara Seats
Appreciate the feedback and good ideas. I will look into those options. The ute actually rides quite hard compared to a Hilux I had previous. Its no where near as smooth on the shingle road I travel. I thought that it was down on its back springs but after looking at numerous other D40's it seems ...

Navara Seats
The driver seat in my D40 Navara is giving me a crook back, how hard would it be to replace the front seats with a pair of recaros or similar and would they be likely to help with back support? Thanks

Re: 06 STX Navara vibration
I dont know if it started straight after the diff rebuild as the previous owner had that done. I only just got the ute 2 days ago. I made the fatal mistake of not driving it on the open road before I brought it. Drove it around town and it all seemed good, the guy said it had a slight shake that was ...

06 STX Navara vibration
Just got an 06 STX Navara. Goes well but has a bad vibration go thru it from about 80km/hr onwards. I have had the wheels balanced and they were out quite a lot but that hasnt made any difference. Had the driveshaft removed and universals checked by mechanic and they appeared fine. It recently (10 ...

Standard late model radiator, has a big elec fan that is on a t stat, but the cooling system is so efficient the fan hardly ever goes, only while creeping around off road

Re: 1UZFE Thermostat
Its in a double cab Hilux, manual box. Runs good in summer about half on the gauge which is where I want it, its just on cool days open road running it runs a bit cold. I dont do excessive amounts of off roading.

Re: 1UZFE Thermostat
Thanks for that. I was wanting to get a slightly hotter thermostat if possible. Mine is a 82 degree and my truck is running a bit on the cold side on cold days. Would there be other options to those two thermostats listed on the web site quoted?
