Or do what i did and got cruiser chassie with hilux cab I'm running a 1kz with manual pump, intercooler exhaust etc, it's plenty powerful, with headroom for more (hardly ever see an egt over 550 pre turbo), so the only reason I'd move onto a cruiser chassis is to have the 6 cylinder under the hood ...

Tight to the rear wheel? This isn't a surf chassis or a flat deck but maybe slight mod to the back of the body to create some more room..

Turbo will still look stock I'd say. I did toy with the idea of doing a ct20/26 hybrid on a top mount riser manifold, but nah too much work and want to maintain good low end response.
