where to get a winch solenoid
right guys ,just mounted my warn m8000 on my 40 and my brand new pos solenoid fried itself while i was spooling the cable on .who has these in nz for a reasonable price.cables are all cut for those black square ones.have a trip on this weekend and keen to sort for it. suggestions please

i have done what you want to do.took off my 882 cast iron heads (which are in good cond) from my 400 and replaced with edelbrock performer alloys and wouldn,t do it again.as well as the heads i needed different length pushrods,head gaskets etc plus hardened washers for the head bolts .i tried to do ...

after taking driveshaft and front driving plates off vibration is gone.lots of movement in cv so pretty sure brass bush has picked up on new cv and munted itself .all good now.quite interested how it will be in 2wd as a part time kit was on my shopping list this year.thanks for all texts and calls t...

its looking more like the replacement spindle i put on a couple of days ago may have been a bit worn and the brass bush may be spinning with the cv causing the vibration thru the front end.am going to remove front driveshaft and driving plates and try that this morning

right have managed to find my password and log in .am still diagnosing but rear driveshaft appears fine .am getting vibration from front so tomorrow will reinstall rear driveshaft and remove front and try that.dont you just love holidays when all you do is fix your own bloody 4x4s in any town but yo...

im in the process of redoing my 40 front suspension and ive used range rover front suspension.nice and easy and the springs are quite a good rate.can get some pics if you want.i coiled it 20 yrs ago with rr stuff im just redoing it a little different,

i got a big power gain by doing a 3inch exhaust and then a little more gain by intercooler. exhaust made the biggest difference by far.

check out sedgins .they do a complete assembled Spanish head which has a good name.and a reasonable price.just remember to do belt,thermostat,waterpump and tensioner at same time

trans difference i think is 1hdt is full hydraulic and 1hdft is computer activated solenoid controlled ( correct me if i,m wrong)

dont bother with the chev 6.2,try for a chev 6.5 .way better motor.6.2 will rattle your cruiser to bits making f all power.

orsom laser services in wingate lower hutt have the pattern and can cut them for you.not sure how much but all my dealings with them have been reasonable prices
