Re: Low revs at cold start
The diaphragm unit in your pic is the vacuum operated idle-up device which should actuate when you switch the aircon on. The waxstat unit should be on the side of the injector pump underneath the diaphragm unit. Hard to tell from your pic if it has been removed or not. It should have 2 water pipes ...

Re: Low revs at cold start
There is a waxstat device on the side of the injector pump which should link to the control arm on top of the pump. When the engine is cold there should be a gap of about 3 to 4 mm between the control arm and the idle stop which gives a higher idle speed. I suspect your waxstat has either collapsed ...

Re: td27 injectors.
The numbers are on one of the flats of the 19mm hex of the body of each injector ( just under where the leak-off rail sits.) Tricky to see without a light and a mirror. You should see the numbers 0050 and either letter B or T . The letter determines the nozzle number. (I can supply exchange reco ...

Re: 1kz te help. No fuel to or from injector pump?
I would say Kbushnz is probably on the money when he says spill valve or ECU - remote possibilty injector pump is not turning as feed pump inside injector pump should still suck fuel from tank if the drive shaft which carries its vanes is intact. Good luck! Still no luck but can confirm the ...

Re: td27t injector pump filter
Yup that would be about right. You might have more luck removing it by "fishing" with a hooked tool or making a hook end on a piece of wire . There should be a spring which you would have removed first?

Re: Fuel pump problems
Turn the splined end of the control shaft as far as it will go towards it's idling position. Then slowly turn it the other way til you can JUST feel the spring tension. That's pretty much the position to slip the lever on the splines so that it abuts the idle screw when the idle screw is set roughly ...

Re: Fuel pump problems
Ok - then the control linkeage must be jammed - you'll need to lift the cover again and check the arm is sitting correctly. When everything is correct and u have the cover back on u should be able to turn the top of the throttle shaft with your fingers until you feel the spring tension. Then make ...

Re: Fuel pump problems
Did you put it on with the fuel screw still in it? If so that is the most likely cause. U need to measure the fuel screw projection, remove it from the housing, then fit it on the injector pump and replace the fuel screw afterwards. quote="zukmeista"]Ok so I went for a WOF and failed due to O-ring ...

Re: Injector Timing TD27t - Terrano
and there's FA room to use the timing adaptor/DTI. Injectorod's given a good description. You could trial a few positions and see how performance changes and go by feel (like setting petrol ignition timing by ear) or another way of doing it that may get past injector pipes easier (has one like this ...

Re: Injector Timing TD27t - Terrano
Generally speaking, too far advanced and it will sound like a bag of spanners or knock hard especially when you rev up. The timing advances automatically as engine speed increases anyway so if the static timing is out it just gets worse. Shortens engine life too. Too far retarded and you'll be down ...

Re: Fuel Leak - 95 Terrano TD27T
Hi - that plug is exactly that - a plug. It has a knife-edged (built in) seal at the business end of it which seals off the high pressure side of the pump plunger. It also has a rubber O-ring under the head of the plug but that won't stop a high pressure leak if the knife-edge is letting fuel past ...

Re: Diesel pump rebuild
Yeah the price quoted is very high I think aswell I might have to source from out of town to fix as the leak annoys the hell out of me but performance wise the truck runs massive might just get the pump done then do the injectors afterwards and take up the offer of injectorrod to do them just have ...
