cheers dude il keep that in mind, machined the hub end off and welded it up today so il give it a try tomorrow night and see how it goes

how much are you after for that spare rear diff benorange? my only other option at this stage is to get a 30 spline 1 and turn it in half ,make a sleve and weld it up to make 1 useful 1 out of 2 (mine broke at the wheel side of the bearing and had to weld it up to get it home so its beyond repair ...

yea alans one has 30 splines,chaltons one has 27 splines, been on the phone for a couple weeks now trying to find one ,if i hadnt just bought bloody 5 stud white spokes i would have hilux diffs under it by now ,that would of been far easyer than trying to find an axle, theyr only 30mm wider in the ...

thanks for looking guys, as far as im aware i dont have an lsd ,eather that or its buggered im waiting on a couple of wreckers up north to pull axles out and have a count up but if it all turn to shit il bee in touch

my right rear axle had enough and broke off, cant seem to track one down
85 rocky 2.8 turbo with 29 splines any help would be mint

Funnily enough hes a bloody bluffy! so anyone out there heard of a 2lt spapping a cambelt at full revs and not destroying its self? thats what i thought its all back together now, new cambelt and tensioner, dints knocked out and shes ready for the weekend,. casters a bit dodgy tho but shit happens ...

haha yip that is me the cambelt snappd about a min before that pic was taken and it was my drunken co driver that dived in the hole bout 5 mins later ,, Waterblasted the 6 inches of mud off the engine this morning and startd stripping to find out the extent of the damage and then had 2 go to work so ...

yea i had that same thought but i cant find another beam axle chassie and i want to use mine in one peice while i modify the spare(i live beside the bush and il go into withdrawl)... plus itil be a good mission 8)

might change my mind closer to the time, but at this stage i think il give it a go

hmm maby il use the OME springs for a laugh an block the back up to suit im planning on running 35s with pleanty of room to spare... iv just scored a 6 cycl single cam efi turbo engine out of an 82 supra with loom ecu and trans prety much everything exept the body ,I dunno if il use it yet but does ...

yea mate theres hundreds of us lurking down this way

im gunna use the 87 chassie and SAS it, as ive found the standard chassie ant that strong so il reinforce it while im at it..plus all the steering box mounts etc are already there fo the crossover steering...
