Re: GQSaf: Rebuild the TD or LS1
Its easy to get a cost on LS1 conversion, have a look at Marks Adapters to price up the bits, allow a couple grand to install and set it up (unless doing it yourself). Then there is running costs of a petrol, LS1 can be quite frugal if driven carefully, but who is going to do that? You can also sink ...

Re: balancing beadlocks?

I've been running beadlocks without tubes for years, solved all the problems relating to tube punctures ...

I thought the TV3 news item was quite good. To be honest I'm a bit surprised the item was so long given no one was harmed.

Re: Correct use of a car trailer...
A vehicle should be tied down so it is like any other static load on a trailer, let the trailer suspension do its work rather than fight the vehicle suspension.
We use 5 2500kg strops off the 4 recovery hooks, maybe a bit of overkill, but strops are cheap, vehicle not so cheap.

Take the sheet back to them and ask to be shown exactly which part of the VIRM they have failed each item on. If they can't/won't then you have grounds to lay a complaint.
