disconnect the sender, turn the key on and check gauge position. ground the wires from the sender, check the gauge position. if it goes full one way or the other, your sender is shit, possibly a shot ground connection. if it doesn't the connection or gauge is shit. test the wiring, dismantle the ...

I've been looking into it. Was looking at 338 lapua. But very pricey.
308 will do it. tight enough to put em in a chest-sized area with aperture sights...
