For freight, the package, for each pair, will be about 400mm x 400mm x 300mm
and will probably be about 50 kg

What Kevin forgot to tell you is that these are like a lot of other disc-brake-rear vehicles and actually have a tiny drum brake assembly for the park brake function inside the disc. Crawl under and have a good look , you'll see . You may need to get these shoes re-lined , last time I priced them ...

Nice work Jerry , I think you are in a good position to implement the standards , as I hear the CCVC ones , and driver training are quite good . Prehaps with a little tinkering these could be used ?

theres a real easy way of fitting breathers , grab a threaded elbow from the "push fit" air fittings range . these can be bought threaded on one end and will screw straight into the diff housing and the air line tubing simply pushes into the other end . beleive it or not , try one of mikes masonary bits (tungsten carbide tipped) as a last resource that will work but it will take time too . dont let it get too hot though , your spring steel will turn into .... steel
