Daihatsu Rugger - gearbox wanted
Am looking for a gearbox for a Daihatsu Rugger '91/'92 (engine is F71). Does anyone have one to sell or know of anywhere I can source one ? Cheers.

Hi ! Not new to the forum, but new to the West Coast. Have just shifted to Westport from Dunners. Had Zuks in the past, but now drive a Rugger - stock standard except has got 31"" tyres. Hey Moriarty - you're fast becoming my mate. Absolutely nothing wrong with a Rugger Mine cost $3500 for a '91 intercooled turbo diesel 2.8. Only major thing I've had to do so far on it is replace the battery. No probs offroad so far and haven't done any mods to it yet ! Good power to weight ratio ...

I liked my 91/92 Samurai 413 - went well enough for me off road and that was completely unmodified. Managed to keep up with the big boys on several occasions. Have to admit they are not the best on tarmac for comfort or power but off road there ain't many places they can't go. Wouldn't want to take ...

Have got a 91 Daihatsu Rugger, 2.8 turbo intercooled (unmodified as yet). Impressd with its power - definitely makes a difference having the turbo (test drove a non-turbo and it was like a tank in comparison).
