Welding nd cutting isnt a problem for the sump. i just dont wana buy something thats gona be more hassle than its worth. thanks for all the help aswell, think im finaly understanding a bit more about diesels :roll:

Well the motor got sold from under me but have found a 2lt outof a Toyota mark II for 800 witch includes everything. Much difference between this and a surf motor?

so a 2l-t pump would be the way to go?
would the motor run rich when not on boost if the n/a pump was turned up to compensate?

on a tight budget and them 3l's arnt cheap so have decided to go this way instead, so just wanting to know more about what i need, what will and wont work for the 2L-TE
