ML Triton Recovery hook mounting help

What is the best way to mount rated recovery hooks to the front of the
ML Triton, there doesn't look much room about the crush zone dimples.

Hilux LSD diff help needed Palmerston North

Have a mate thats Hilux LSD diff is pretty noisy proberly needs rebuilding, so can anyone help with whos the best bet in and around Palmerston North to get this done.
Its a 4.3:1 G285

When replacing Surf ln130 top balljoint is it necessary/easiest or safest to release the torsion rod tension, and do you do this with weight on or off the wheel :?:

put radiator back in and ranup engine supply to cooler is the front pipe,I've put second cooler last in series cooler oil straight to trans that way.Timely job all the oil hoses on last legs full of cracks easier to replace now than on side of the road.

Trans oil cooler LN130

I have had to take radiator out for repaie can anyone tell me which trans line is the supply and which is the return line.so when I fit cooler in series I can get pipes rightway round.
I think the forward line on trans maybe out (ie supply to cooler),as this has a pressure? switch on it.

Its the Vacuum bottle/reciever used to supply air(under vacuum obviously) to the sliding sleeve for engaging 4wd in front diff, part of std ADD system.

All sorted had run outta gas due to small leak at evaporator connection oring.

Surf A/C help

Can nyone point me the right direction with a/c pump clutch not energizing! Is there a fuse somewhere hidden away?light comes on in dash switch.
How to check if gas has keaked out,I have a idea if system pressure is low ie no gas pump wont run?is this so?
any help much appreciated.

Yeah hes right checked all codes on link,then jacked it up and spun wheels seems about right.

How can I easily tell if my truck has LSD and it's actually working properly.when on the road and going round "roundabouts"it will spin the rhs wheel,truly :lol:
Also without removing diff how to accuratly tell the ratio? id plate for axle is G254

After much measuring and playing about in general I got the holesaw into action and job done after a fashion,having trouble sorting what snot to seal it all up with.Not much sticks too LLDPE,proberly just wind the clampsup and smother it all with underbody sealer. I've been up there a few times last trip 4wks ago if your vehicle can get over the very first ditch not too much of a problem from there{then anyway}rain can change all that though,and I only went to saddle,Will come along if not doing anything else. :)
