What kind of wiring? is there that much of a difference between the loom from 8v to 16v that itl be a issue?

hi all I have a 1992 escudo with the 8v injected 1600. its about to die and I can get hold of a 16v 1600 but minus alternator starter motor, exhaust manifold and powersteering pump. I was wanting know know can I use all the boltons from my 8v to replace the missing parts on the 16v??? how much of ...
