Hilux surf O/D problem
Hey, Been driving my Dads old surf around a bit. Its a 1991 3l v6 petrol auto thing. Its got a probelm in that sometimes the O/D light flashes (about one second on, one off) and the truck really lacks power. It has to be put into L or 2 to get up hills. Its been into the garage and they have done an ...

That track up from the bog is good times. If you follow the creek/track it comes to a nice little clearing with a few tracks around through it. Heaps of possums at night time aswel. Watch out for deep holes on the outside of corners in the creek. Its a tiny creek but could probably catch you out i ...

I’m sure you can all work out what Peter was saying and I completely agree with him. Thousands and thousands of hours have been spent on getting insurance and access etc for four wheelers by Peter and others in New Zealand, therefore I am not surprised if the association takes a paternalistic view ...

Yeah I see your point but how many people are actually going to buy an E band radio. If you plan on doing trips around the country PRS appears to be the way to go. I live in Welly and am at uni down South so spend about half my year in Dunedin. I have ended up with a CCVC RT which is hopeless apart ...

Jeees this place is helpful. Would have taken Landrover Dunedin a week and a couple of hundy AND the truck would have come back worse than before. All I can do for now is empty the oil out of the loom where it meets the ECU and do the wiring harness in a few months once Uni is over and Im back in ...

Landrover leaking computer
Hey all, Went out to give my truck (2001 Defender 90 td5) a clean before, and found about 50mils of oily water in the compartment under the seat. After cleaning it up found that it has been leaking out of the computer where the cords from the fuse box plug in. This would explain why every now and ...
