Hey Rowan, At least two things wrong with the shackel idea. Firstly, bugger doing up a shackel in a bog or river with dirty running water and s*^ everywhere, and secondly hooks are designed to straighten if too much load is on it to minimise damage to your truck etc. No idea about the removable ...

Hilux surf O/D problem

Hey, Been driving my Dads old surf around a bit. Its a 1991 3l v6 petrol auto thing. Its got a probelm in that sometimes the O/D light flashes (about one second on, one off) and the truck really lacks power. It has to be put into L or 2 to get up hills. Its been into the garage and they have done an ...

That track up from the bog is good times. If you follow the creek/track it comes to a nice little clearing with a few tracks around through it. Heaps of possums at night time aswel. Watch out for deep holes on the outside of corners in the creek. Its a tiny creek but could probably catch you out i ...

Landrover leaking computer

Hey all, Went out to give my truck (2001 Defender 90 td5) a clean before, and found about 50mils of oily water in the compartment under the seat. After cleaning it up found that it has been leaking out of the computer where the cords from the fuse box plug in. This would explain why every now and ...

Yeah if I had an Fj40 in Welly I would definately have it well off the street. They tried twice to steal my brothers and now its kept well off the road away from prying eyes. Pity my mate didnt do the same. Us landrover owners dont have these problems you see :?
