Used this gates belt 6PK to run the accessories, which takes into account removal of the air con unit.

Ecu wired up and power on.
Opened up TunerStudioMS to start setting up parameters and the ecu already has a 1UZ base tune loaded.

Ive powered it and wired it per diagrams but cant get it to register on the laoptop dashboard.

We have opted to go for a steel driveshaft, custom welded up for the right length with 2 Uni's on it - rather than stick with the Pajero carbon rear driveshaft.
This involved making up an adaptor for the diff head end.

The pajero bay is much roomier than ive seen with hiluxes so that will also improve cooling.

I think if I run an engine fan it might be difficult to also adapt an effective shroud to suit. Food for thought..

The reason I believe the diesel radiator will be fine, is that a guy in South Africa - much hotter climate, used the same setup and reported good results. I think I will run the standard diesel radiator, looks very much up to the job compared with the hilux/surf ones the Toyota boys run on the 1UZ (with great results) so hope to combine that with a decent electric fan or two, as the 1UZ does not run a engine fan standard.
