Re: Terrano heater problems.
Cheers, heater core box thing was really clogged up with shit.
Is there anyway I can turn the heater valve on manually? I'm pretty sure the heater valve is closed, as I can't flush water though heater.
Looks like I would have to take out the dash to get to that middle heater unit thing?
Cheers.

Cheers for the help guys. Cheers Daniel, it sounds like you are right, I don't hear a single thing when I adjust any of the controls. I went to get the old ones I had in the old terrano body that is still lying around and I could only manage to get the blower motor thing out, that sits on the far ...

Terrano heater problems.
Hey guys, The heater system in my terrano is pretty messy. I can't change between the different settings on my heater, like changing it between window demister or the one that goes down towards legs etc. The light comes up for each one i select but nothing changes. And it sounds like the fan has no ...

drowned terrano, now clutch slipping.
Hey guys. Had a rough run down at the ashley the other weekend with a mate. Overestimated the ability of my stock terrano and got bogged in the water while I was pretty deep, I forgot there was a hole in the top of my airbox where a vacuum line once was, which rendered my snorkel completely useless ...

Re: Swapping bodies between 4 door and 2 door terrano.
Sorry for long wait, but here it is now. I went to a couple of wreckers and they all broke the speedo drives trying to remove them, so I just drilled a hole through fire well below the heather hoses and put a speedo cable through firewall and used a mechanically driven speedo. Cheers for all the ...

Re: How to remove speedo drive WD21 Terrano
the guy at automotive parts in rangiora thinks he has a manual one possibly. Minus the speedo guage. how can you tell the difference between them? If it plugs and works does that mean it is all go? And could I take the speedo from an automatic cluster, and put it in the manual cluster? Since I don't ...

Re: How to remove speedo drive WD21 Terrano
Alright, I asked around a bit, and nobody i directly know seems to have one. A guy in Rangiora has one from an automatic Terrano that he will sell me for 95 bucks. The donor vehicle I have was a manual, will the speedo drive from the automatic one work fine with mine since they plug in, in different ...

Ah thankyou, very useful. Will message a couple of my RB obssesed mates haha. (big box refers to the 25det box right? ) ) So the sender on any R33 skyline will do the job? Or just the manual ones? Re: Swapping bodies between 4 door and 2 door terrano.
Hey. Body swap went well, all the mounts lined up between the 2 door and 4 door. Only thing that did not line up was the plugs on the steering colum, I had to get the idicator and window wiper units from the 4 door terrano as the plugs on the 2 door indicator and wiper unit were different. I still ...

How to remove speedo drive WD21 Terrano
Hi there, Recently done a body swap, had a damaged 3 door 1992 td27t man, and swapped a 1994 widebody 5 door td27t man body on, using the loom and dash that was in the new body. The now body has the round dash which is driven by an electric speedo sensor, but my terrano has a mechanical speedo drive ...

Cheers, didn't notice that. All is good and well, Should be getting the new body tomorrow. But one thing I have figured is how do I unplug the wiring in the door? It doesn't seem to have a plug to disconnect it? Or do I just have to pull the wiring out further? And with the tailgate the plugs are in ...

Re: Swapping bodies between 4 door and 2 door terrano.
Hey, must the fan be removed to remove the radiator on a td27? the shroud seems to be stopping me from lifting it out. Also I have to replace the turbo as the actuator and the part where the air goes in ( ), are badly damaged, my best guess is that I shouldn't reuse the gaskets, so would I be able ...

Re: Swapping bodies between 4 door and 2 door terrano.
Haha like the previous owner did? Okay, the cab I thought I was onto is a no go. Really can't find one around here. I am going with a 4 door wide body terrano, which all lines up. It was a manual td27t and still has the dash and loom and a bit of extra crap in it. So it should be even easier than I ...

great so far its going good, cheers for that much appreciate the info. The only cab I can find is from a 4wd petrol d21. I can't go see it till I go pick it up, but before I do, do you know if that would be compatible since my terrano is a diesel? I'm guessing I would have to swap my wiring loom ...

Great, I'm going to measure them out tomorrow, since havent had access to a 4 door this weekend. But Im thinking I'm going to go with the d21 cab and there is one locally in Rangiora. Re: Swapping bodies between 4 door and 2 door terrano.
Hey thanks for the replies, What would be the benefit of chopping the back off a 4 door terrano? Is that because its only the rear mounting points that dont line up? Hmm, putting a d21 cab on to the terrano chassis, like in that thread, looks very simple, Is it as simple as it seems? How would that ...

Ahhh. on doing a more in depth search of the site i see someone asked the same question but the other way around, hmm. Apparently the mounting points dont line up, I will double check my self.
Otherwise, would anyone have a 3 door body for sale in North Canterbury?
Cheers. ah

Swapping bodies between 4 door and 2 door terrano.
Hi there, Been following these forums for a while now, soaking up all the valuable knowledge you guys have haha. I have a Nissan Terrano, TD27T 5 speed 2 door, 1992. I recently (from a extremely amateur driving line) hit a fallen over pine tree, the branch of the tree went right through my left head ...
