I've read on Google u can use r150 transfer case but I've also been told u can't use R series transfer case. Could I get some more broad advice on this subject please.

Hey guys I wanna build a dual transfer for my 2lte surf how do I go about this? Can I use my existing case and adapt another case to it or do u have to other cases and build together?

How did u get your crossmember? Do u have to measure it up yourself do can u buy them made up and add your mounts?

Hey mate obviously the triangulated 4 link is fully custom so how do go about lengths and where mounts need to go? I'm doing some homework on how set one up on my surf.

Nah i dont know anything but ive got a welder/engineer mate that knows what hes doing just needer know what i havto cut off, weld where and move what.

Diff conversion.
Ive flagged all previous ideas but stuck with the safari diff conversion. My new plan is to convert from ifs front end surf to solid beam axle and change my rear diff to safari aswell. Does or would anyone have any plans as whats needed to be done and how i go about doing it?

Thinking of new approach to my build. Just had it brought to my attention that my hilux ln60 chassis is longer then my surf body so what i am now thinking is flag chassis swap and just solid beam conversion on my surf. Now how hard os that going to b and what sortve misson am i in for?

Cheers for that info mate will keep uz posted and take some pics as I go. I've already been told to give up cause what I'm doing is so much work and effort but I'm learning and I'm enjoying myself at same time.

K so ive got my hilux half stripped and getting ready to start making mounts for my safari diffs. Does anyone know what is needed to b done and if so could someone tell or better yet show me. Thanks.

DONE IT!! Yeah got home today and smashed it out front and back borrowed set of stillsons (monkey wrench to some i think) and yeah got old gurls out and got me new bad boy heavy duties in there. Heaps better no bounce and clank anymore. Next step replace 4wd actuator hopefully get 4wd then will keep ...

hi just upgrading suspension in my 1990 hilux surf from original to after market heavy duty suspension but cant seem to get the back shocks out does anyone have any help tips to get them out? thanks.

Sorry mate I'm in chch. Iv found the actuator on the back of the gearbox and vac hose. Hose was fine but thinking have to take actuator off and open it up to see what's wrong cause whenever I lock hubs 4wd isn't engaging.
