hi I am looking at buying a RR classic, the eas has a fault but nobody knows what the fault is , apparently the hardware is all ok just the message isnt getting to the compressor.If I can get it for the right price what would it cost to rip the air bag suspension and put coils all round? Thanks guys I went for a bit of a look around & saw lots of signs re the wildlife reserve etc so I will either enter by the racecourse & stay north of the river or drive down the road to tip road, dont want to upset the locals seeing I live here now

Can anyone tell me what the rules are regarding 4wd access on Ruakaka beach & is it possible to drive across the Ruakaka Estuary at low tide to get to Uretiti beach or would I have to access Uretiti at Tip Road

They seem to be extremely good value for money I know they love petrol but I don't do any city driving except when I go to Auckland once a month to see my grandchildren so what sort of litres per 100k's or mpg could I expect on the open road. I'm bringing a few of these in, can also supply tracking setups via the net if needed. PM me if anyone requires more deets. You can do a simple hook up with two wires (+ & -) right up to a full install, to tell you if doors are open, acc is on or off, power removed, fuel cut off remotly etc etc ...

I think Id be on the chain side of the fence if I had the choice, as mentioned they both have good and bad points, but at least a chain will usually stretch and rattle and give plenty of warning before anything serious happens. My old Hilux had 250thou when I replaced the noisy chain, chain turned ...

I remember my Uncle had a Galloping Gertie, a contraption consisting of a hinged "door" flat on its side where the hinge edge was on the seaward side and it would lift to catch the backwash on a shallow beach, then lie flat as waves came in over it - gradually towing your amateur longline 400 yards ...
