I am a total amature when it comes to stuff like this, more keen just to take it into a place to get it fixed unless its something easy. unless someone can do it for a box of piss...

failed a WOF because the rear brake doesn't hold, HELP?!?!
checked the cables and they are very tight.

this is on a 1991 4X4 ute.

My Hilux ute needs some more GO, it is dropping down to 60 KPH on some hills on the open road holding up traffic.

HELP, is there anything I can do without replacing the engine like disconnecting the 4X4 somehow and making it a 2WD?
