Does anyone have any tricks or other sockets I can use to get this undone? was the last one which was typical.. Normally id just try hammer a smaller socket on but being ...

Re: Fitting steel front diff to escudo
Thanks for you help. Just spent way to much on a steel diff but it will be a worthwile investment. Would hate for the alloy one to die in the middle of the bush.

Re: Fitting steel front diff to escudo
So if I got a steel diff with the correct 3rd member and swapped in my alloy diffs ring and pinion then got a drivers side cv thats 26 spline(ie use the one that came with the steel diff.) my drivers side axle would slot in and work fine?

Removing front sway bar on escudo
Has anyone removed front sway bar from an escudo for offroad use. Thinking of trying it to get abit more traction off-road. Does this have any negatives off-road. I figure I might get abit more understeer on road but it's just a weekend truck anyway. Escudo currently has 3" susp lift, 2" body and ...

Snapped front body bolts
Hey all. So was doing a body lift and both bolts that hold the body to the chassis at the front have snapped off with no studs sticking out. I need some options on how I can fix this. Its a bitch to get at. I thought about drilling a 1inch bottem then drilling out the bolt completely and putting a ...

Hey all. Trying to free up a few ponies from our g16a engine. to start with your dealing with a tired old engine that's probably driven around the world a few times, being realistic you can get bolt on (or unbolt in your case ) power by playing around with bits and pieces to try and get it to ...

Hey all. Trying to free up afew ponies from our g16a engine. Figured gutting the cat would help. Has anyone done this? Did it make a difference? Im assuming its got abit of crap blocking it from being over 24 years old and wouldn't really be doing much good. Have given the engine a good servicing ...
