Re: Does this indicate too much oil pressure inside the turb
Thanks for the replies guys, Crash Bandicoot was right and refreshed my memory - when I went to Scarles and got the plate, they told me the thread was 1/8" PT (not MPT, or NPT, just PT?). I then went across to Hose Shop and they found a fitting that fit it, which I think was BSP... thread tape was ...

Does this indicate too much oil pressure inside the turbo?
When I put this Scarles SCR320 on, I used the banjo bolt that came with it, but the ####### thing leaked like a sieve so I went and got this plate and 90 degree fitting instead. I put it on pretty tight, I had to use the vice and twist the plate an extra nudge. I didn't use thread tape or a thread ...

Re: TD42 turbo feed T'd from Oil Pressure sender - questions
Damn... yea we were thinking of taking it from the exhaust side, but opted to take it from the filter side because we thought that: ⋅ the oil might heat up too much coming past the manifold ⋅ the oil would be cleaner ⋅ the oil would be higher pressure We were also copying the setup of a truck that wa ...

TD42 turbo feed T'd from Oil Pressure sender - questions
Hey guys, I installed one of them Scarles SCR320's over xmas. I took the turbo oil feed from the filter side, by teeing off where the pressure sender goes. I then installed an aftermarket sender and gauge as well. I have a couple of questions: ⋅ With the turbo feed teeing from there, is the oil p ...

Re: TD42 Turbo Fuel Pump Mods?

Re: Woodhill Night Run 4th October
Is this in the 4WD park, or through the actual Forest?
If not, are there any events that run through the Forest? I thinking something like the 4WD equivalent of the jolly poacher trail ride (but probably smaller scale I guess).

Re: Another what tyre thread - pls help me decide!
I'm in the same boat here, and the 762's sound like the go. But I'm just wondering how they'll go in sand? Anyone had experience with tyres with gaps like 762's in the sand?
EDIT: Here's some more info on MT762s
