Hi, I think the crank was too far gone. But I could replace the bottom I guess. There's a replacement engine down south on trade me where only the head is the problem.

How about repowering it with a 13B,14B,15B + Turbo if required? ex Toyota dyna usually, Simple conversion and gets you away from the 3B dog indirect injection (the 1 in front is direct injection) I considered this, would be nice to have the extra power.. though I half bought this truck to slow me ...

a second hand engines the most economic option mate its a bit of a gamble buying one but those little tractor engines go for ever (except your one ) theres tons of 3B's sitting in old 70 series cruisers rusting away getting wrecked keep your eyes open and some cheap motors will come up will only ...

Thought so,saw you waved bro tried to wave back which is bit hard while trying to turn in strong arm steering version lol.

Yes one handed driving isn't wise or sometimes possible especially whilst turning.. An hours drive in an FJ is better than an hour at the gym!
