FJ40 2F engine, trans, and t-case RUNNING

I've decided to repower my FJ40 and have removed the original engine, trans and t-case. I have this on TM at a $1 reserve. She was running fine when removed and towed the boat on the highway. Compression on all cyls was 130psi or better when removed. Happy to do a deal with someone here or feel free ...

WTB Power Steering Box

Looking for a power steering box with rearward facing (or movable) pitman arm for a conversion. Something like a box from an Isuzu Bighorn, older Patrol, or Landcruiser. Needs to come with pitman arm and at least the u-joint on the input side (unless it's easy to source or universal). The box can ...

Re: Steering Box Strength

Yeah Cheers Mehrts. Not planning on buying that one, just think the overall shape and style will work really well for a conversion that I have in mind. If they're strong enough to handle larger tyres and a bit of rough stuff then I'll pick one up elsewhere. That was the best photo I could find ...

Steering Box Strength

Just wondering if anyone know's how strong the bighorn steering boxes are. I've found this one on trademe http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-parts-accessories/isuzu/auction-947271004.htm and it would fit my conversion really well but have no idea on the strength of reliability of it. Not worth the ...

Re: Fj40

Mate I bought some stuff off that guy a while back and will never go back there. Just look at the ridiculous prices he wants for stuff. It's essentially double what other sell for on trademe. If you do buy something have a look in person before exchanging any money.

LPG Kit W/ 2 tanks off of 2F engine

Replacing the engine in my 40 series with something else and have a full LPG conversion to move along. It's been on there for probably 10 years or so but was running just fine up until I pulled it. Current inspection is good until 9/2015 if that's of any use. Will come with 2 tanks, all hosing I ...

For Sale Landcruiser HDJ81

It's finally time for a new home for my favourite wagon. New work and family commitments require a sale otherwise I'd keep her around. This is the ultimate wagon for towing the boat, hunting, camping, fishing, farm work or anything else that requires a great amount of power and 4X4 capabilities. I ...

WTB Tyres and Wheels 32x11.5 on 6 stud rims.

Just picked up an old FJ and it has 3 different style wheels and tyres that will not pass a WOF. Anyone have an extra set they would part with? Prefer more of an all terrain pattern but open to anything to get her driving.

FJ40 Body Panels

Has anyone had much luck sourcing steel or fiberglass FJ panels? Just picked one up today and she's in need of a little TLC. Primarily concerned about the rockers and the floor pans.
