Re: "Lando" - C79's V8 Disco Build Thread

Hi Tim Videos worked fine for me off the posted links just now. Sweet thanks Steve! Mainland winch challenge is going back to 33's for clubman next year. Truck will sit more stable and your gearing will be better on 33 than 35. Right that's good to know although that's another spanner in the works!...

Re: "Lando" - C79's V8 Disco Build Thread

Do you mean the embedded video doesn't work and you had to use the link presume the 'embedded videos' are supposed to be in the blank space above the youtube links, if so then nothing there. link to youtube works. Thanks that's what I needed to know... I'll see if I can sort it. Thanks :D EDIT: Can...

Re: "Lando" - C79's V8 Disco Build Thread

Hi there, can I ask where you got your tow hook plates from? I could do with one or two for mine I got them from Max at Canterbury Land Rover Spares. I think they were around the $30-$40 mark... then you just have to drill the plates for your hooks. I also have the holes in my dumb irons bored out ...

Cool Rover project mate, looks great. Love the Rostyles, a nice tip of the hat to the earlier coil sprung Rovers. Yeah shame about the 2-door, a 2 door 200Tdi would be an awesome project to restore to factory condition, IMO. What type of rear locker arrangement do you have?? Keep it up! Thanks, yea...

Still all go for this weekend????

Having heaps of rain and supposedly 15mm more tomorrow up that way. Definitely won't be having to worry about it being dry...

If it's all going to plan, I guess the cage will have to wait! Gonna run out of time to fit that up

Update #4 Well I said that next job was throwing in the locked rear diff 'next week'... that was two weeks ago. While I did actually get it in I've been so flat out I've had no update time! However it wasn't simple. So much for back diffs being easier than the fronts. I guess it would have been if ...
