Hi can understand you problem , but any truck you get in the end need mods to run better offroad, This is a major part of offroading the more runs you do the more thing you find could be changed just work at a slow pace that can be afforded a bit at a time. the more fun you will have with it

GOT 265 /75 16 S MTR/S FOR MY MAZDA UTE ,SPIN them well you move it didn't have a good 4wd system, so had to make do . got a 89 swb saf the mtr/s were all i had stuck them on the saf they are abit narrow for the truck but long as they spin it does alright, got through where other club guys thought I...

Removed my centre mounted tow hook got a new one off repco , now have tow hook bothsides at the rear. Filled the bumper up and made a rack to hang on the spare wheel to mount the spade and tow strop, Room for a hilift later on

Blackwoods Paykel's were selling a recovery pack with a long and short snatch strap , offroad block, dam can't rember it all but came in a tot bag for $200 +

did a working bee at the club house deceided to take a drive through the swamp, drove it before no probs , more water in the pond, plus welder and generater on board bottomed out, those ground ankors out of flat bar and steel pin hammered in to the ground realy do work well :oops:
