wouldn't be surprised if the front axle is an isuzu NPS unit. decent sized things with bellows type boots over the swivels and that idler on the tie rod. they don't seem to detroy much even with huge floatation tyres on them and overloaded bouncing around paddocks. lots of badge engineered nissan an...

pretty bad. always the goons that get in there and tear shit up for the hell of it eh. even places like takapari will get shut off I reckon. Was up there in July and some idiots had carted a couple of uteloads of pallets up there and had a huge bonfire going and were tearing up some of the boggy bit...

yeah man I never got to the bottom of it but I changed/checked everything but the pump itself so surely it's that hah.
I ran mine unplugged for offroad coz I hate abs on slippery surfaces so meh.

yeah man exactly the same problem as I had. When I was trying to sort it, I replace G sensor, checked wheel sensors and changed the ABS ECU and everything. Only thing it could've been was the pump (you're meant to clamp the brake hoses and crack a bleeder before you push pistons back on the calipers...

truck got ABS? my old v6 had some whack issue i could never find that caused the ABS pump to run sometimes, and increase the engine revs at the same time. felt whack through the brake pedal too.
If it's ABS, unplug the two abs plugs on top of the abs pump and go for a burn and see if that stops it

there's conversion bellhousings available to hook isuzu 4j engien to landrover transmissions. that plus 3.54 diffs would probably be pretty lush.

33x12.5r15 - a much taller tyre than stock 3.5litre pajeros have a 2" factory bodylift which means 33s shouldn't scrub the guards etc. 31" are ever so slightly larger and easier to get than the stock 265/70r15s. even on stock tyres pajeros have really quite good ground clearance for a stoc...

Got me a sweet S2A 109 and now I'm after a couple bits and bobs. door lock set! - 3 doors (both fronts and a rear swingout door if possible) overdrive unit - long shot here but if anyone's got a fairey or similar I'm keen to talk turkey. I'm based int eh Manawatu but can organise couriers and the like
